On arriving with us you will immediately be regaled by the beauty of The Vosges, with its forests, hills and waters. Your welcome in our converted 17th. Century home, to join us in a tranquil and relaxing setting, along with our small menagerie of domestic animals of horses, dogs and cats will be warm and friendly. Enjoying the comfort of your own rooms and bathroom, with optional main meals provided, cooked by my wife, a rather good French cuisinière, and using almost all locally produced meat and vegetables, subject to availability, you have the chance to profit from this little known and idyllic part of Northern France. We are 488 metres (1600 feet) above sea level and enjoy fabulous summer weather, with real winter weather of snow, bright, frosty mornings and sunny days with Natural Beauty all around us. On offer is French or English TV, WiFi, in fact most of the amenities of modern life in a traditional setting.

While you stay with us you will have the chance to visit the resorts around us, including Gerardmer, a spa town where the ski-ing is normally exceptional, Colmar, Epinal and the nearest main town, St.Die. Depending upon the season there is skiing, water sports, hill walking, cycling, all terrain biking, wine festivals, fantastic flea markets - "marchés au puces" - almost every Sunday in the summer, the list is endless.  As the home of both www.home-cures.net and its French cousin, www.remede-naturel.net, you will have the chance to learn of some of Mother Nature's wonders in the form of the oils, creams and cures that, with the backing of time and research, are now accepted as effective forms of treatment. We have also a lovely range of Therapeutic Magnet Braclets that are the "wow" of our customers.

Taking only two people at a time, (we can accommodate two others/children as well, but remember, this is a "stress relieving holiday!) so that we may devote the maximum attention to you. Prices start at £250 per week. While you stay with us you can be self contained or become "en famille" when all main meals are provided. Towels, linen etc. are also provided. However, extras such as wine and spirits and special excursions are not included; all arrangements are made at the time of booking as well as possible pick up points such as railway stations or airports.
